Executive Coaching, Counseling & Interview Training
Navigate the high-stakes transitions that define your career with the help of a careers expert, sounding board and thinking partner.
Most executive challenges aren't just about what you know, they're about how you react under pressure. Whether you're preparing for a career-defining interview, navigating a leadership transition or processing a layoff, the human element is usually the deciding factor. As a certified coach, counselor and former recruiter, Devin has the expertise and high-EQ insight to help you find your edge, regain your momentum and turn high-stakes transitions into an opportunity for greater purpose and impact.

"The executives who perform best under pressure aren't the most talented. They're the best prepared."
Why the human element matters
Technical expertise gets you to the table. It rarely closes the deal.
At senior level the barriers to success are often psychological and tactical, rather than technical. Even the most capable executives can underperform in high-stakes interviews without the right preparation and perspective. Leadership is inherently isolating. Few executives have a truly objective thinking partner and sounding board to help them navigate complex issues. We're here to help, no matter what career challenge you're facing.

Benefits
Win interview processes
Most interviewees answer the question they're asked. The best candidates use every question to demonstrate exactly why they're right for the role. We give you the strategy, the tools, the narrative and the clarity to make that shift. All clients find their interview performance improves and, for many of them, it is transformed.
Objective perspective
The higher you climb, the harder it is to find honest, empathetic counsel from a trusted advisor and critical friend. No agenda, no office politics, no vested interest. Just clear, independent thinking from someone who is completely in your corner.
Professional Resilience
The tools to process a layoff, a pivot or a major transition without losing momentum or your sense of professional identity.
Optimized earning power
Expert support through the final stages of any process, ensuring you negotiate from a position of strength and secure the best possible package.

Frequenly asked questions
FAQ
What's the difference between coaching and counseling?
Coaching is primarily forward-focused, clarifying goals, developing strategy and building the skills and confidence to achieve them. Counseling addresses the emotional and psychological dimension, processing difficult experiences, managing stress and building resilience. In practice the two often overlap and we move between them naturally depending on what you need in any given session.
How many coaching or counseling sessions will I need?
This varies significantly by client and objective. Some clients need two or three focused sessions around a specific challenge. Others benefit from ongoing engagement across a search or transition period. We discuss this on the discovery call and review regularly as the work develops.
Is everything discussed completely confidential?
Yes, without exception. Nothing discussed in coaching or counseling sessions is shared with anyone.
Can I book a single 'Thinking Partner' session?
Yes. While most clients see the most value from an ongoing engagement, we offer standalone 'Deep Dive' sessions for executives facing an immediate challenge or crossroads
What if I only need one or two interview training sessions?
We assess readiness throughout the programme. If you're performing at the required level after two sessions we'll say so and refund the third. We're not in the business of selling preparation people don't need.
How far in advance should I book interview training?
Ideally two to three weeks before your interview, enough time to complete all three sessions without rushing. If your timeline is tighter we can compress the programme. Contact us to discuss.
Can coaching and interview training be combined?
Absolutely, and for many clients they work best together. Interview preparation addresses technique and strategy. Coaching addresses mindset, confidence and performance under pressure. The combination is significantly more powerful than either alone.
What are your coaching and counseling qualifications?
Executive coaching course, University of Cambridge. NCFE-qualified counselor. Two decades of working with senior executives through career transitions, redundancy, performance challenges and major life decisions. The formal qualifications provide the framework. The experience provides the depth.
